A Mathnasium franchise offers you a great balance between investment and reward. Becoming your own boss, improving the lives of children and earning a significant income that’s controlled by you – that’s an amazing reality, not just a dream.

Returns

Students visit two or three times a week, with a subscription-based model offering you recurring income and the ability to plan ahead with your cash flow. You’ll have a small team of instructors, so HR is easily managed. And your rewards are personal as well as financial.

We expect a good single centre operator to earn in excess of £100,000 a year, based on existing franchisee performance, within two to three years. Highly successful franchisees can and do earn significantly more than that. And there’s the opportunity to own multiple centres as well once your first is established.

In the USA, where the brand has been franchised since 2004, several franchisees have 10 or more centres. We don’t limit anybody’s ambition: the opportunity is here for you to grow whatever size of business you’re looking for.

Even with our exceptional business model to follow, the biggest reward you get won’t be financial. Mathnasium franchisees witness countless success stories unfolding as their students make progress, change attitudes, increase their sense of value and ultimately, develop a brighter outlook for their future. Every time we ask them about their highlights of running their business, it’s that feeling and those stories that they recite.

Investment

The investment required varies according to location, but on average will be in the range of £85,000 in more rural areas to £140,000 for central London sites. Lenders can provide up to 50% of your financing requirements, so you’ll need approximately £50,000 liquid capital to get started with your own Mathnasium franchise. As part of your start-up support, we will be happy to assist you in preparing a business plan and make the necessary introductions to the banks’ franchise units in order to progress your application.

When making the decision to become a Mathnasium franchisee, keep in mind that you are not only investing financially; more importantly, you are investing your time, energy, compassion, enthusiasm and your commitment to follow our systems – acting on every opportunity to make your education franchise better.

In turn, we are investing in you. Working together is the Mathnasium equation for success.

A full and open breakdown of the financials behind our franchise will be shared with you as you conduct your due diligence into the opportunity.
